Plus, we're excited to announce the launch of a new disruption management tool, for real-time dispatching, developed in partnership with NS, the Netherlands Railways, with a preliminary version debuting at InnoTrans - the "Virtual Assistant for Disruption Management".
As part of the CREWS Real-time Dispatcher - a multi-user disruption management decision support system for staff dispatching – this tool detects a disruption, finds a suitable recovery plan and adjusts the work assignments accordingly without any human intervention. It does so, according to a given policy that defines the conditions under which scheduling decisions can be taken in a complete autonomous way. This is a project under the Europe’s Rail initiative.
