The students rose to the challenge, proposing an all-inclusive app that combines real-time schedules, travel routes, and special event travel information in one place. Their solution features new incentives such as reward schemes and gamification, encouraging customers to walk or cycle to stations.

About RailVISTA | RailVISTA is a project for the development of a decision support system to define train timetables, plan and allocate rail fleet and train crew, and manage Translink’s daily operation. The company operates scheduled bus and rail services in Northern Ireland, including cross-border and cross-channel links. Translink jointly runs the Belfast - Dublin Enterprise train service with Iarnród Éireann. Additionally, Translink also takes the role of Infrastructure Manager.
